1.0 What the job involves
We unpack and count the parts before we start, so a missing fixing turns up on the first day and not at the last step. Then it's built to the instructions, with cam locks turned fully, dowels glued where the maker calls for it, and the back panel fixed all the way round, because the back is what keeps the whole thing square.
Before the back goes on, we check the carcase square across both diagonals. A wardrobe or bookcase that's out of square never gets its doors to line up, however much you adjust the hinges.
Tall and heavy pieces get anchored to the wall. The ACCC warns that toppling furniture and TVs injure people every week, and young children are most at risk. We fix the anti-tip strap or bracket into a stud or masonry, not into plasterboard alone, and sweep the wall for cables first.
Last, the doors and drawers: hinges adjusted so the doors close evenly with a level gap, drawers set so they run and close fully. Then the boxes, foam and plastic go with us.

4.0 How pricing works
Free quote. The number and size of pieces set the time: a bedside table is quick, a large wardrobe with sliding doors takes much longer.
Send the product names or links. Several pieces in one visit cost less each, and anchoring is listed as its own line.
5.0 Questions
Can you build it if I've lost the instructions?
Most makers have them online. Send the product name and we'll find them.
Do you anchor everything?
We recommend anchoring anything tall or heavy enough to tip, especially with children in the house. It's your call.
What if a part is missing?
We count first, so you know early. We'll tell you exactly which part to order.
Can you take the boxes?
Yes. Boxes and packaging go with us.
Do you do outdoor flat-pack?
Small outdoor storage, benches and play gear, yes. Anything that needs a permit or a slab, no.
